Our Mission and Protection Plan

Our commitment to safe ministry with the children of our faith community is reflected in our Children's Ministries Mission Statement:

To come alongside families, helping their children embrace Christ and develop a vibrant four-fold faith: head, heart, hands and spirit, while building community at Kortright Presbyterian Church.

We aim to provide a safe environment for our participants, teachers, and helpers and to be responsible as we serve the children, youth and vulnerable adults participating in our programmes. Kortright Presbyterian Church has in place the 'Plan to Protect'; a policy designed to ensure your child's safety while in our care. Teachers and helpers must complete an application, complete a police check, and be thoroughly interviewed in order to qualify to lead in our programmes.
